067A Return Of The Flat At Navan H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Exceeding, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that My Kurkum (GB) trained by R. K. Watson was found to have lost a right front shoe in running.
067B Vintage Crop Raceday April 25 (C&G) M'dnGordon Elliott trainer of Battle Of Maldon reported to the Raceday Stewards that his charge was a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined State Of Wyoming, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left fore post race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Monmouth, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
R.M Mulligan, rider of Sarangpur, trained by Paul Mulligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly from the starting stalls.
W.J. Lee, rider of State Of Wyoming, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls and never travelled thereafter.
067D Enjoy Hospitality At Navan H'capThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Clerk Of The Scales that S. Coen rider of Whats New presented to weight out at 2lbs overweight, which had not been declared. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he did not have the time to loose the weight required. Andrew Slattery, trainer, confirmed that he was satisfied to allow S. Coen retain the ride. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Coen was in breach of Rule 195(i)(c) & Rule 198(vii)(a) and having considered his record in this regard (third offence) they suspended him for 3 racedays.
067E Irish EBF Med Auct. Mdn (Smullen Series)The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hippology (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a left front shoe but otherwise post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident 100 yards from the finish line involving Honouramongthieves (GB), ridden by S. Foley, Karrygrant, ridden by B.M. Coen, and Maxminelli, ridden by R.P. Whelan, where it appeared they came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
067F Summer BBQ Packages Apprentice H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the last furlong involving Lady Plimsoll, ridden by W. Joyce, and Calamint, ridden by C. Geerdharry where it appeared Calamint hung left drifting into the path of Lady Plimsoll. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W Joyce stated that he got carried a little to the left but didn't have to stop riding, he further added that if he had the horse he would have been able to maintain his line. C Geerdharry stated that his mount was hanging badly to his left and he was making all the efforts required to keep his mount straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
C. Geerdharry, rider of Calamint, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the last furlong.
067G Bective Restaurant H'capThe Raceday Stewards granted permission for Survivor's code, trained by Conor David Maxwell to run without the declared tongue strap.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Dreoilin, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early.

Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii)
